Stephenie Meyer’s series of four romantic, vampire books, Twilight has known a great amount of success since the release of the first book, Twilight, in 2005. It has sold over 85 million copies and has been translated into many, many different languages. The Twilight series has won a variety of awards and is still, 4 years later extremely popular with teenagers and young adults.

The Twilight books follow the life of a young girl, Isabella Swan who falls in love with a 104 year old vampire, Edward Cullen. Although the book is written from her perspective there will soon be a book relased, The Midnight Sun that will retell the first Twilight book from the Vampire, Edward’s perspective.

Also, do not forget to watch the movie adaptation of the first book, Twilight. The second movie, New Moon will be released in theaters on November 20th, 2009.
