Scrabble SlamScrable Slam is a pretty simple game to play, and in my opinion can become much more fun than the original Scrabble game, especially for festive occasions.
The Scrabble Slam game consists of a deck of cards with a letter on both sides of the card. Some cards are left blank and can become any letter you wish.
Scrabble Slam starts with 4 cards on the table that spell out a word (for example grim), the rest of the cards are distributed to the players. The goal in Scrabble Slam is to get rid of all your cards by replacing existing letters on the table with letters from your hand (you change the word grim to grip, then to trip). Every Scrabble Slam player plays simultaneously, so speed is a factor in Scrabble Slam. The player who has the least number of Scrabble Slam cards at the end of the game wins the game. If you wish to make the game more challenging all you have to do is add letters to the original word (from 4 to 5 to 6 and so on).
The game can be excellent in helping kids learn new words and great in excersiring anyone’s brain in thinking fast.
