The PlayStation Portable first debuded in 2004 at a sony press confrence. The PSP (as it is otherwise known as is a hand held game console.

The PlayStation Portable not only uses an optical disc formant, it also has a wide varaity of multi-media applications. It can connect to thePlayStation 3 (ps3) and other PSPs as well as the internet. Furthermore it has a large view screen to, optimize games.

Although the PSP does lag behind in sales as compared to the other handheld game system, Nintendo DS , it has been extremly successful, especially with the relase of the slim & lite version.

High school students carry around their psp and use it to store,games, pictures, music, and movies that they can share with their friends at anytime.

This is an excellent gift for a young adult!
