HBO, one of the most crediable television netword, that has produced so many great series. HBO’s orginal TV sereies have given the population much food for thought. HBO shows are the standard most shows aim to beat, but do not come close to more than half the time.

Entourage (season 1 to 5)

Entourage, created by Doug Ellin follows Vinsent Chase and his childhood friends from New York trying to navigate the streets of Hollywood. Vincent Chase played by Adrian Grenier is a young movie star whos character is loosely based on Mark Wahlberg (co-producer) life as he tried to survive in the movie industry.

Entourage deals with themes of freiendship and the ever challanging life of people in Hollywood. The show has recieved many positive reviews and is still running strong and is set to begin it’s seventh season in September 2010.

Curb your Enthusiasm (season 1 to 6)

Ever wonder what Larry David did after leavingSeinfeld after season 7. Larry David took the Seinfeldhumor to another level. As the co-creator, producer and one of the main actors, playing himself, Larry David has created another hit with Curb your Enthusiasm.

Curb your Enthusiasm was inspired after HBO aired a mockumentary on Larry David in 1999. Since then, Curb your Enthusiasm has won an Emmy (but been nomicated for a dozen) and a Goloden Globe. Curb your enthusiasm, has just completed its seventh season and have even managed to reunite the original Seinfeld cast. Although it is not a reunion show, it is a gift for everyone to see the whole cast again together on screen.

True Blood (season 1)

True blood produced by Alan Ball (who also produced the much critically aclaimed HBO show Six Feet Under) has already recieved a Grammy and an Emmy. True Blood, a show about the co-existance of vampires in humans in a small town has captivated many people. True Blood is a great gift for anyone interested in mystery, vampires, and since it is a HBO show, we know are assured that it is a high quality story.
